Karen Blixen Camp is named after the Danish author Karen Blixen who wrote ‘Out of Africa’, one of the most romantic stories told. The camp is located in the Mara North Conservancy an exclusive private concession bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve in the North. The camp encompasses 22 large luxury canvas tents – each set on a beautiful wooden platform with a spacious verandah. On the cushion daybed one can enjoy an afternoon siesta, taking in the wonderful surroundings.
