Saruni Rhino is located in Sera Community Conservancy, in the wild, undiscovered northern frontier of Kenya. The camp is a little under 2 hours from Saruni Samburu lodge in nearby Kalama Conservancy.
The 3 ‘banda’ camp (rustic stone cottages) is situated on the edge of a doum palm-lined ‘lugga’, a dry riverbed, a half hour’ drive from the first of its kind in East Africa, community-owned & managed Sera Rhino Sanctuary. The site was previously known as the Kauro Bandas by the Kauro Lugga.
